One fateful night in 2002, Mira O'Connell's whole life would change forever. After awaking to a home invader, she survived the fight of her life.  


After her attack, Mira joined Law Enforcement and has been a Peace Officer for over 12 years, 4 of which were as a Sergeant. She became a Certified Instructor in 2007. She teaches General Policing, Defensive Tactics, Active Shooter Response, and Interview & Interrogations. 

Mira holds multiple degrees:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science - Occupational Education - Criminal Justice
  • Master of Arts - Business and Security Management
